We invite you to join the Conemaugh Valley Conservancy for the 12th annual Stony-Kiski-Conemaugh River Sojourn. Come paddle through Johnstown, Blairsville and Saltsburg along the beautiful Kiski-Conemaugh Rivers and the Stonycreek River, a 2011 nominated Pennsylvania River of the Year. The Sojourn will be held Thursday, June 2nd– Sunday, June 5th. We should have good weather by then, even without the Groundhogs’ predictions.Thursday through Saturday, you will paddle wonderful flatwater sections of the Kiski and Conemaugh Rivers, which have thrived in recent years. Sunday, hop in a duckie to paddle the whitewater section of the Stonycreek Canyon. Join us on the river for one day or all four days. Cost for Thursday-Sunday is only $15/day and the whitewater paddle (with all equipment) is $40. Registration includes most meals and camping, guide service, shuttle and an event t-shirt. Outfitters can provide you with all the gear needed, if you do not have your own for a small additional fee.
