Next weekend (June 30 and July 1) should be the first “non-event” normal release from the Quemahoning Reservoir. Come join us for our first “regular” release and the resulting great whitewater in the StonyCreek Canyon.
Update: An update from Rick Maust at Quemahoning Reservoir. Current elevation is 1626.3. We should be ok for release on Saturday. Sunday will be iffy and dependent on
rainfall. Will keep everyone on the loop. Watch our Facebook page for news.
As of 6/28: elevation is at 1626.2 and Saturday’s release is good to go but Sunday’s release will probably not happen.

April 2021 in the time of Covid-19
We are still keeping a low profile. Covid is still bad. Paddling is good but please don't socialize without a mask before or after paddling. Hopefully next month will be better. Release on Saturday, April 10th. This is a one day release in order to conserve water for May releases. April meeting of the BCC will be held on Wednesday, April 14, at the Crow's Nest (510 Tire Hill Rd, Johnstown 15905) at 7 PM. Stony Cleanup will be held on Saturday, April 24. Meet at Greenhouse Park at 9 AM. We will also have a single day release on this day as well. Too dry for full two day releases.Events Calendar
