The Laurel Highlands Polar Plunge, in its third year, has become” the event” to kick off the annual Winter Games. On Saturday, February 8, 2014, more than 450 brave individuals will be “freezin’ for a reason” as they take the plunge into the cold waters of Quemahoning Reservoir in Boswell, PA to benefit nearly 20,000 Special Olympics PA athletes. The BCC will be fielding a team again this year. See the 2014 Laurel Highlands Polar Plunge page for details.
