Well, for the 2nd year in a row, we got flooded out of the Christmas Paddle at the Stone Bridge to raise money for the Salvation Army. Appreciate Ron Morris’ effort and despite the cancellation, he still raised over $800. Congratulations, Ron.
Greg Dick will host the 20+ consecutive year of the Good Karma Paddle on the Stony Canyon. The forecast looks cold, so drysuits are a must. Poggies too! Meet at 10:30 AM on New Year’s Day at Carpenter’s Park.
Please note the 2014 Polar Bear Plunge will be held at the Que on Saturday, February 8th. Details to follow, but the BCC will be sending a team again. Last year we raised over $1,500 for Cambria/Somerset County Special Olympics. The one day total was > $50,000.
