Full Moon Paddle this Sunday. August 10th at Quemahoning Family Recreation Area. Meet around 7. Bring drinks for yourself and snacks to share and your own utensils (plate and silverware are suggested). We usually paddle or socialize until just before moonrise (8:04 PM) and then we paddle out to watch the full moon rise over the eastern hills. Boats must be registered. PFDs are mandatory. We supply chemlights but many folks bring other lights for fun. Folding chairs are great for the after paddle campfire. We also often fire up a charcoal grill after the paddle. Great fun for beginners and experienced paddlers.
