The annual Christmas Float to benefit the Salvation Army once again will be organized by Ron Morris. Current date is scheduled for Dec 20th. Meeting at the 6th Street Bridge at 4 PM. We will paddle from the Hickory Street Bridge to the West End of Johnstown while stopping for the lighting of the Stone Bridge. Canoes and kayaks will be decked with LED Christmas lights while attempting to sing a few carols as we paddle down the Stony. Join us on the river, or stay dry and participate at Point Park near the Stone Bridge. Paddlers are urged to collect donations for the Salvation Army and deliver them on the evening of the float.
Donate to our Whitewater Releases.
Our Rendezvous is our main fundraiser to help pay for Whitewater Releases from Quemahoning Reservoir. We appreciate all of your support and donations that helped us keep the releases going in 2020 and into 2021. Our 2021 Rendezvous was a great success and will go a long way as funding for our releases. But we could still use any donations that our friends could make to make sure we can pay for future releases and maintenance costs.
