First full moon paddle of the summer. Join us for a full moon paddle Saturday evening (June 18) at Quemahoning Reservoir Family Recreation Area. Forecast is for a beautiful evening! Meet at 7 PM to paddle under the rising full moon on Quemahoning Reservoir. We meet at the family recreation area beach. Bring snacks to share and a folding chair. We usually have a fire after we paddle (and swap lies about our paddling skills) and some people grill a burger or sausage. Boats must be have a state registration or launch permit; a whistle and at least one light (many people add battery powered LEDs for show and we have chem lights as well). Please note: you must pay a $5 per vehicle fee to enter the Family Recreation Area. Failure to do so may result in fine. Contact Rick Bloom or Steve Podratsky for details.
