June 16: First Full Moon Paddle of the summer. Meet at 7:30 PM at Quemahoning Family Recreation Area near the beach. Bring snacks or dishes to share. We usually try to paddle out to watch the full moon rise. Later we sit around a fire, snacking, and telling lies about our boating adventures. Boats must be registered; PFDs are mandatory; and boats must have a light. We supply chem lights but many add battery powered LED lights to their boats for fun. This event is cancelled due to bad weather.

June 23: First Middle Yough Trip of the summer. Meet at 10:00 AM RamCat Put-In.  We shuttle around 10:30 and try to put on the river around 11:30. Great beginner trip and fun for everyone else. Around 9 miles of beautiful river. A few class II rapids. Boats do not need to be registered but PFDs are mandatory.

June Releases are a Go for now. June 15 & 16 as well as June 27 & 28.
