First full moon paddle of the year is Thursday evening, June 24th. We typically meet around 7:30 at the Quemahoning Family Recreation beach area. Moonrise is after 9. We try to be out on the water to watch the moon rise over the hills. Then paddle back to the beach for a fire, food and friends. Bring snacks to share, something to drink and a folding chair or two. Boats must be registered, PFDs are mandatory. boats need a light (we will have chem lights but many folks like to add battery powered LEDs for fun). Weather looks great. Contact Mike Burk or Steve Podratsky for details.
Donate to our Whitewater Releases.
Our Rendezvous is our main fundraiser to help pay for Whitewater Releases from Quemahoning Reservoir. We appreciate all of your support and donations that helped us keep the releases going in 2020 and into 2021. Our 2021 Rendezvous was a great success and will go a long way as funding for our releases. But we could still use any donations that our friends could make to make sure we can pay for future releases and maintenance costs.
