June is starting off warm and wet. The CVC’s annual Stony-Kiski- Conemaugh Sojourn is kicking off today, June 3rd. Our releases for this weekend, June 5 & 6, are on with warm weather forecast and good water levels. Release for June 19 will be announced as soon as we hear from the CSA (but water levels look good). Our first full moon paddle of the year at Quemahoning Reservoir is scheduled for Thursday, June 24. Moonrise should be about 9:15. And our first Middle Yough trip for the summer is scheduled for Sunday, June 27. Meet at Ramcat Parking area at 10 AM to set shuttle.
Donate to our Whitewater Releases.
Our Rendezvous is our main fundraiser to help pay for Whitewater Releases from Quemahoning Reservoir. We appreciate all of your support and donations that helped us keep the releases going in 2020 and into 2021. Our 2021 Rendezvous was a great success and will go a long way as funding for our releases. But we could still use any donations that our friends could make to make sure we can pay for future releases and maintenance costs.
