Folks, sorry to do this on short notice, but our normal trip leaders are unavailable. Plus we have not heard from anyone interested in this trip. We are rescheduling this trip for Sunday July 11. Also, tomorrow is the Rotary Duck Derby. We will be helping the duckies down the river! If interested, we’ll be meeting at the Hickory Street river access at noon. Set shuttle to the Ramp below the Incline, and plan to be under the Napoleon Street bridge by 1:00. Nice day to float a stretch of downtown Johnstown! bring a plastic bag to put ducks in as you paddle.
As of now the Stonycreek/ Que Whitewater Release needs to be cancelled for July 17,18th. The CSA will be working on the Que Pipeline over the weekend and will be unable to have water going through the valve. If anything changes by Thursday, will let everyone know.
