August Middle Yough Trip

Our Middle Yough trip this month will be held on Sunday, August 20. This is a great trip for beginners who need more experience on moving water; there are lots of small class I & II rapids with plenty of spots to practice eddy turns, peal outs and ferries. This is also a great fun trip on a beautiful river for experienced paddlers as well.  We meet at the Ram Cat parking area at 10 AM to set shuttle. We will try to launch before 11:30. Please bring a lunch for on the river. Boats do not need to be registered for this section of river. PFDs are mandatory. This trip is generally for BCC members or folks planning on joining the club. Please RSVP to either Rick Bloom or Steve Podratsky, so we have an idea of numbers and also so we can contact you if something happens that we have to cancel this event.
