SeptemberSeptember 4-6: Special release to draw down the reservoir. Wednesday through Friday the CSA will release about 375 CFS from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Canyon should be runnable from 9 AM to 5 PM. September 7 -8: This release is on as part of the special release to draw down the reservoir. This will be a normal (500 CFS) release and follow the normal schedule. Enjoy. September 14: Due to lousy weather on Friday the 13th we are moving this event back to Saturday, the 14th of September. Meet around 7 PM at the Quemahoning Family Recreation Area. Boats must be registered. PFDs are mandatory. Boats must have a light. We supply chem lights but lots of folks add battery powered LEDs to make their boats "fancy". Afterwards we typically have a fire and share snacks, some folks bring stuff to cook over the fire; then we swap lies about our paddling adventures. Bring a folding chair.
