02/18 February Club Meeting Rescheduled

The 02/18 February Club meeting has been rescheduled to the following Wednesday 02/25 due to the unfortunate passing of long time club member and supporter Jeff Prycl.

He was many things to many of us. He was an educator, guide, outfitter but most of all a friend. He taught roll class at the YMCA since 1991. He was the primary vendor as Rocky Mountain Kayak for 32 years of Rendezvous. Someone posted “he taught hundreds” how to kayak/canoe. I bet it was thousands. Annual Loyalhanna trip in March, his Loop runs all summer on Sunday’s and his roll class at Greensburg and Johnstown YMCA. And his roll class on Wednesday night’s at Rocky Mountain Kayak. And the Falls clinic on the Tygart. And we could go on forever. Condolences to his wonderful wife, Rose. After 10 years of building their “dream home” he was hoping to put the final trim pieces up this spring.

Arrangements being made through Barnhart Funeral Home. 505 E Pittsburgh St, Greensburg. Friends/family received 4-6 pm on February 18th and brief memorial service at 6 pm. I am sure many of us will be there to pay respects. Will update anything further on Facebook as well as the rescheduled meeting.
