September Middle Yough Trip

There will be a Middle Yough Trip in September. But with a slight change. It will be on Saturday, September 13. Scott Rugh is leading this trip. Meet at Ram Cat Parking area at 10 AM to set shuttle. Boats do not need a registration. PFDs are mandatory. Bring lunch for on the river. Great trip for beginners to learn the fine points of paddling in moving water and in mild whitewater.

 

Full Moon Paddle

There will be a full moon paddle on Quemahoning Reservoir on Sunday, September 7. Due to changes in the Recreation Area timetables; we can arrive at 7 PM or later. Moonrise is around 7:30. Boats need to be registered or have a launch permit. PFDs are mandatory and boats need at least one light (but folks also like to add more for fun). Likely there will be a fire later.

Beginners Trip

Beginners trip on Sunday, April 21st. Meet at the Blough Bridge at 1PM on state route 403.
