Impromptu Middle Yough Trip

Impromptu Middle Yough Trip this Sunday, September 22. Weather looks good. Meet at RamCat Parking area at 10 AM to set shuttle. We will likely launch around 11:30. Great river for new boaters to practice “moving water” skills and a beautiful paddle for more experienced boaters. Boats do not need to be registered, PFSs are mandatory. We’ll likely take out in Ohiopyle around 3; although low water levels might make the trip a bit longer. Some folks like to finish the trip with a few drinks and snacks at the Falls City Pub. Fall Releases from Quemahoning Reservoir

Folks, this part of Pennsylvania is in the midst of a very dry spell. All rivers and reservoirs are low. Unless we get some serious rain, there will likely not be any more releases this year.
